Retiring in Alexandria

Hi - I am US male citizen that got married in 2012 in Italy to Egyptian Italian woman (US citizenship also in 2018).聽 We live in USA now, but I am retiring in 2 months.聽 I want to gain Egyptian residency and retire in Alexandria , Egypt.聽 We travel there frequently.聽


The question I have is two fold:


1:聽 How do I get my marriage recognized, she has muslim identity on her egyptian residency card, and an egyptian, italian, and american passport?聽 Where do I start the process,聽 I am not muslim.聽 I am not sure I need to do this to apply for residency.聽


2:聽 How do I start the process to apply for residency in egypt?
