How is raising kids in Ethiopia different from raising kids in your home country?

What are the activities that your kids seem to enjoy the most in Ethiopia?

Do you feel that the country is "family-friendly"?

Do you recommend Ethiopia as a good place to raise kids? Why or why not?

raising young children in addis is great- you have a lot of help from very loving and caring people. most people rely a lot on play dates and school to entertain as there is not much to consistently do here other than swimming, tennis lessons, a few soccer teams...

for children over the age of 8 or so it gets a bit harder as they want more variety - again, school is the social center.
