Hey ya, like most ppl here, I am heading over to Accra very soon! I just figured it will be fantastic and helpful if anyone already in Ghana could share some quick tips with all the new comers like me in this thread.

Starting from...

1. the must-go bars and clubs;
2. the best shopping areas
3. the dangerous areas that better stay away from
4. any weekend class, social group/events worth signing up?
5. the must-go cities in Ghana/Africa
6. Top expat haunts around Accra

You could also refer to the This is Ghana blog on this site as that has a lot of information about Ghana and what to do and see.

Also has ratings from members on restaurants, bars etc.
