Any handset will work here provided it's been unlocked for all networks.

To get a SIM card, take a copy of your passport photo page to the Almadar or Libyana office downtown, pay your registration fee (10 Lyd from what I remember) then buy some top up cards...

Are CDMA technology mobiles useful in libya or only GSM will work? Also Will Indian electronic goods will work or we need some converter, e.g. laptop or mobile cahrger. What kind of plug system is there?
