Hello Marselya,

Life does get a bit on the boring side here soemtimes, but it's up to you to make the most out fo social life. Attend expat meetings, organize bbq and potluck parties, etc. Also once in a while it's important to take a holiday and go somewhere within Libya or some countries around the region. In fact, next week I am going on holiday in Turkey for a week and quite excited about it, since it's going to be my first time there. Will visit Istanbul, Cappadocia, Pamlukke, Kusadasi and Ephesus near Izmir. Another thing you need to keep in mind is that there's no nightclubs here, unlike in Turkey, so most people lead a simple, quiet and unassuming lifestyle, with the occasional social outing. Sea Angel is organizing a group for non-working wives and meetings are held at every month. She also lives in Janzour with her husband and i am sure that you can get along with her easily as we have already met and had dinner and spent very good time with them...
