Well I’m in New York I sign in for a friend that leavis in Tana trying to get a job for her,never been there yet will go there soon like to know the experience that people have when they when there....

Thank you gmike for making that clear.  I see that you have some French speaking knowledge and I would suggest you post your question on the French Forum as there are at least ten or more members that can answer your questions about cost of living and finding work.    Madagascar is a Franophone country and you may even find work with them.  French Forum  is here  /forum/viewforum.php?id=4047
