hi, is mauritius really the highest paying country for nurses in africa and if yes, how much does a nurse educator earn? how does one apply for licensure and how long does it take?

Welcome on board !


I don't think Mauritius is the highest paying country for nurses in Africa.It is a sector where you will not really find openings for foreigners. There are medical and nursing schools in Mauritius and usually these positions are filled by locals.


Public sector will not hire foreigners as it is a "state job", private sector might but you have to know french, creole and a little english as for this type of job you will be in touch with the local population and if you don't speak creole or french, it is quite pointless.
