I have been living in the north for more than two years now.聽 (Between Grand baie and Trou aux biches) its an ideal location in the north .聽聽west coast I heard flic in flac is聽 good, tamarin also is lively and many expats live there.聽 You can do further research to see where suits you best, depending on how long you intend to stay here.

the north is best, sandy beaches, blue lagoon, lagoon ideal for swimming. sunny weather, the south and east is too windy. i stayed in hotels in those places, but north is the best.
