Just a brief introduction

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and just wanted to introduce myself.

My name is Natalie and I moved to Mauritius 5 months ago.聽 I come from Wales in the UK and am enjoying finally being out of the rain.
I help manage a new branch campus university in Quartier Militaire - busy, challenging, exhausting, but good fun.
I have settled in lovely, vibrant, warm (!) Flic en Flac and have had some fantastic experiences on the island since i first started coming here with work, nearly 2 years ago.
Some things are a challenge, others a lot easier than the UK - l'm looking forward to sharing my stories, learning about yours and getting to know you.

Welcome Natalie. We live in Wales at the moment but my wife and I (she is Mauritian) have a place in Port Louis and will be moving there permanently soon as we can.

Flic is our favourite spot, lucky you.
