Safety Deposit Box in Marrakech

Hello, I am returning to Marrakech - for the 5th time - in Sept and have rented an apartment in Guilez. I have always left valuables, passport, return tickets etc in a hotel safe but would really like to find somewhere that has 'safety deposit boxes' for rent. Does anyone know where I can find something like this? Can I do this thru a bank in Marrakech?

Safety deposit boxes are rare in Morocco. Rumour has it that the main BMCE branch on Avenue Mohamed VI has some in the basement, but they are full.

To be honest, though, they're expensive to rent and intended for high value items. Morocco is very safe, theft is very rare, and it's extremely unlikely anybody would want your airline tickets or passport in these biometric days.
