Hi All,
I am an American with a Namibian fianc茅. I moved to Namibia from the States 3 months ago but we are living in the far north in Ovamboland right now for his job. I have so far had a very hard time adjusting and I am not entirely sure whether the adjustment comes from my coming from the States or whether it is due to the fact that we are living in the North. Does anyone else up here know any expats living in the North? Any Americans who also had a difficult time adjusting but learned to do so? I am hoping we can move to Windhoek but it might be another 18 months before we are able. Any advice?
