Hi,

As an expat living in Namibia, what would you advise the ones about to pack to bring along?

What are the items you can easily find in Namibia? On the other hand, what is less common or quite expensive?

Share with us what you would recommend to bring in one聮s suitcase or container when moving to Namibia.

Bring shoes!聽 Especially us ladies! So hard to find good shoes or they are very expensive. Also true for electronic gadgets and cell phones.

Seriously, Namibia isn't North Korea!聽 I was able to find anything I wanted or needed. There are shopping malls in Windhoek and Swakop and plenty of nice stores elsewhere as well. There is even a "China Town" in Windhoek with hundreds of shops to choose from聽 I can't think of anything that you wouldn't be able to find in Nam.
