New to Mbeya-- Looking for housing

Hello!

I'm an American expat who has lived in Tanzania for the last 3 years but I've just relocated to Mbeya in the southern highlands with my Tanzanian husband to start a new venture.

We are having a really hard time finding housing here, we are just looking for something simple, a 1 or 2 bedroom house in a quiet part of Mbeya town, preferably furnished. We don't want to live somewhere too noisy, so living in a rural zone just outside of town is also an option. Our budget is 350,000-500,000tsh depending on how nice the house is. We'd like to move in as soon as possible as it is difficult living in a guest house each night.

Are there any other expats in this group living in Mbeya? Would love to connect!
