You definitely can survive with BND800 on a month. It all depends on your lifestyle really. If accomodation is provided, then your only worry would be transportation. Will a car be also provided? Its the only easiest way to get around Brunei as public transport is not in par as those in other cities in SE Asia - like Singapore or KL.

but i do know a guy on $800+ he is struggling but luckily for him he is a local & stays with his family,so what i'm trying to say is if ur a foreigner then u can't survive on BND$800+
the exceptions are the foreign labourers who live on campsites and company housing where food is also provided,but is this what u want?
