This is my second assignment in India and the last time around I had a lot of trouble in getting stuff here which i am used to in the states.Having the family here was a challenge too because a lot of common household stuff that we couldn't live without had to be ignored. But this time around, I was told about this new site(20north dot com) by my friend Nicholas which now provides a kind of home delivery from US to your doorstep in India and i do not want to sound patronizing but they really have most of the stuff that i need to make my stay in India a lot easier. I am sure some of you would agree when you see the site. I must say pass it on to other expats from US, i am sure its a help for all.Administrator of the forum - please pass this along

I have had HORRIFIC experiences in ordering and shipping things from the U.S.
If 20north dot com has its own courier system, then it may be a solution. However, I have come to the conclusion that using Indian sites like ebay dot in (or even naaptol and others) is probably best, and is what I will use in the future.
