Person with syphilis history

Kudos15@

I got a offer with work permit in service sector. I had a syphilis positive history and doctor say it will always show positive even though I have treated. I have recommend letter from doctor that I already treat for syphilis. So when I undergo the medical check for the work permit, my health results will be failed?  And my work permit get reject?

You should bring along a letter by your doctor, confirming that you have been cured and are no longer contagious. A letter saying you have been treated is probably not enough.

Thank you for your time and suggestions. May I know if I can show the adequate medical docs, am I eligible to work with wp in Singapore?

@Kudos15@ Whether you are fit for work, will be decided by the doctor during your medical exam before you start work.

Admin accept my post, please.

If I have VDRL scar, can I work in Singapore with doctor's recommendation? There are companies that accept even some B virus patients to take medicine. I heard that my sister is cured now because there are scar left in her blood. I am very lost. Please answer without skipping.

@Pannei HLAING Not being a medical person, I have no idea what "VDRL" and "B virus" are and whether you or your sister are cured or not. It is best to consult a doctor about this!

But if you are non-contagious and medically fit for work, then your medical pre-employment check-up in Singapore can be successfull. Bringing along the papers from your home country doctors is a good idea, but the Singaporean doctors will have the final say.
