okunugarasheedolumide1905

Hello everyone,

I’m excited to join this forum and connect with fellow members. My name is Olumide Okunuga, and I am a Nigerian citizen planning to relocate to Vietnam by September this year.

I come with a diverse background and a strong work ethic. I hold certifications in:

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

Data Processing

Postgraduate Diploma in Supply Chain and Logistics

Fire Fighting and Prevention

TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language)

Caregiving and Nursing Assistant

German Language (A1 & A2)

Cargo Handling and Logistics

I also have professional experience as a Warehouse Manager and I’m very skilled in logistics and inventory management.

I’m open to any job opportunity, including roles in logistics, warehousing, caregiving, teaching, or general support roles. I’m eager to contribute and grow professionally in Vietnam.

Looking forward to learning from this community and possibly connecting with employers or fellow professionals.

Thank you.

WARNING ⚠️

Don't accept ANY offers of employment long distance.

Citizens of the African continent especially are being scammed with bogus/phony offers of "guaranteed" employment and long-term visas.

It's a major scandal here, with many, many Africans from various nations being swindled out of fees for agencies that have no intention or ability to provide the things they promise.

please do a little Google search for stories about African citizens basically becoming homeless and jobless on the streets of Vietnam, especially in the capital city Hanoi.

I don't usually post this type of severe warning, but it's heartbreaking the amount of people who have been promised jobs and long-term visas only to spend their life savings on travel plus non-refundable agency fees. they end up basically penniless on the streets of Vietnam.Β

OF COURSE it would be a great idea for you to travel here and check out the job market in person, but as a Nigerian citizen you may experience some difficulty getting a 90-day tourist visa approved. if that's the case when you attempt to get your visa, you might want to consider getting an entry visa through a trustworthy visa agent.

however if that turns out to be your experience, which has been the experience of many Nigerian job seekers before you, then you would be limited at the most to a 4-week visa that probably couldn't be renewed unless you were to secure employment here.

just don't believe any of the hype that you see on the internet or in your local news about job opportunities here.

Good luckπŸ™
