:(  Poor them. God bless them. :(

The Malaysian officials sure seemed like they were in denial by insisting that it couldn't be deemed a crash quite yet, but should  be considered "missing"??  Wow.

Strange timing, considering the recent sodomy conviction handed down to the opposition leader.  I hope this wasn't a deliberate response to the verdict.

R.I.P. and condolences.

Officially, the plane still is "missing" according to Malaysian authorities. However, there is bad news as Vietnam Navy officers found a large oil slick in the ocean. This usually means a large vessel like a plane being crashed in the ocean. Many other nationals in the plane too from Australia, Russia, Canada, France, China, USA, India.
PRAY for MH370

Too early to tell, but, sudden disappearance, no mayday, no radio contact, and two stolen passports from different places shown up at the same time on a doomed plane .... not a good sign.

Don't forget the 2 Kiwi's, although I see Aus have claimed one as their own, as usual.

Few days have passed and the mysterious missing MH 370 has been hot topic everywhere. Let us not point fingers or speculate this unfortunate event but learn from what is about to come when the truth is revealed. Let us pray for MH 370 and to all families concerned.

These 2 passports using ' back door' is quite common , you can pay undertable money at the airports , thai bá»ders , as long as you know someone inside or agents ... If the Immigration officers accepted money & the 2 Iranians got something to do with mh370 , then I think they ' ll be in big trouble .
Pray for those

...another example of "weird" timing:

As that Al Jazeera article points out, Iran had suffered a similar loss of civilian lives due to a mistake by a U.S. Naval ship (the USS Vincennes) that downed an Iran Airlines flight, killing 290. IA Flt 655 (July '88) and PanAm Flt 103 (Dec '88) went down within six months of each other. Intelligence analysts at the time theorized that while Libyans may have carried the PanAm bombing out, they were doing so at the behest of Iran, which saw itself having justifiable cause to do so.

TBMK, there have been no events in recent Iranian history that would relate to the Malaysian Airlines disappearance.
I routinely flew to Europe in the mid-80s, and took both PanAm Flt 103 and TWA Flt 800 on occasion.
