They will give you a basic single modem with one output fir free.

Thanks, I went and saw them myself at Le Loi St. Should be organized by Monday. (Didn't realize that as a westerner I'd have to pay 2,ooo,ooo VD to set-up. Hope the owner sorts this out).
Has anyone dealt with trying to get cable TV? I was told that you have to buy the set top up @ 1,486,000 VD then 100,000 Vd to install. I don't want to buy the 'box' for reception. Any one have any ideas?

Cable  TV: it depends on where do u live. If your place does not have cable line, u have to buy the 'box' reception.

Contact the agent services as Mobiphone, Vinaphone, or Viettel Telecom. This device is very small, you can put it in your pocket, very convenient for travelling or business trip.

i just installed FPT internet service at home, 220,000 dong per month (pay 6 months in advansed) unlimited usage, speed up to 6 mb. free modem + wireless router with one outlet. You need to commit 12 months of service. Otherwise, buy your own wireless router.
They need to pull about 200 meters of wire to my house also. The installation is free.

or get USB 3G, buy 55,000 dong SIM from mobifone, they will add 50,000 dong. You can use about 1.6 GB before running out of money, you have option to add more money, or buy a new SIM.
