Office Equipment/Amazon Shipments

SFP203

Good afternoon;

Was wondering how expensive some of the basic office equipment is.....and how easy it is to find things like printers, ink, paper etc.

Does anyone have any experience with ordering things on Amazon?

We will be living in Sousa.

Thanks.

To order from Amazon, you'll need to use a package forwarder - MBE, CPS or one of the others. Amazon ships to a Miami address and then forwards the items on to you here. You're probably going to pay $4/pound or so and most services round up! We've learned to use the Amazon Day delivery option to try to get items consolidated into as few boxes as possible.

When we go back to the US, we pack everything we need for the trip into 2 roll-aboards, then place each of those into a large empty suitcase. We order anything we need (or anticipate needing) and have it delivered to whichever family member we'll be visiting. Coming back, those large suitcases are filled to the weight limit!

Many thanks.....hopefully we can get what we need locally.....part of living on an island....

All of it is available. I just bought a new   inkjet printer with  refillable ink reservoirs.   It is wireless, HP .  Cost was  13,000 RD or  US 200 bucks.

In order to buy offshore and ship in you want any purchase to be under US 200 and then you will pay about US 5 per pound to ship from Miami to here.   Once you add all that in,  its often about the same cost. Small and light things under US 200 I tend to buy online and ship in.  Heavier items I  buy here!

It all depends on the price difference!

Many thanks...our goal is to buy locally to help support the economy....some additional costs are all part to the island deal!  Suspect we will use suitcases to bring things in too when we come back from an overseas trip!

Have a good week....and thanks as always...
