Hi all,

Can a foreigner take the driving test in Nicaragua?

What are the formalities to get a driver聮s licence in Nicaragua?

Do you need special or extra documents being an expatriate?

How much does it cost?

Hi Armand,

You can use your license from where ever you are. If you want to get a license, you need to have your residency, and they will ask you for the typical stuff. Your best bet, once you are a resident here, is to go to a driving school and have them help you, like you're starting from scratch. You take a course there, and they walk you through the paperwork of getting your license. Just call the different schools and make sure to ask them if that is something that they offer.
