Dentist? Eye doctor? Couch to surf on?

Hi all,
On a whim, my best friend and I bought tickets to Puerto Rico (arrive 3/22 and leave 3/27) and are now trying to figure out where to stay inexpensively (as two young women, we don't have the funds for any luxury resorts). If you have any suggestions, or are interested in having us entertain you/ let us give you a nominal fee in exchange for a place on your sofa, we would be most grateful (we arrive in Ponce, but plan to travel around).

ALSO, I seriously need new eyeglasses and would also like to get some dental work done (as it is sooo expensive in the US). Can anyone suggest inexpensive but high quality dentists or opticians? Your help is ever so appreciated!

The cheapest places to stay are the Paradores or country聽 inns.

You're in bad luck. PR is part of the USA and the prices are maybe a little lower but not really.
I know a cheap and good dentist in Hungary but that won't help you.
