Back in time pre-fabs were not well received in PR and the house prices of prefabs was always way under a regular home. It was quality issues and concerns about the seal between components. Many years have passed since then and I seen different companies pop up that do prefab and several that put together several prefab rooms together into a home. I do not have info on how well they are being received by the public, but with a Glut of regular homes in the market that are being discounted and few buyers, I personally do not think prefabs would be popular, But that is just my opinion that even today, there is low confidence on pre-fab.

BTW, some companies now sell moulded rooms that they transport to your lot and put several of those together to make a home. That is assuming that the streets are wide enough to let them drive/carry those large components. Roofs can also be ordered prefab.

Would I trust it? No, thanks. Maybe if I lived in the desert.
