Best place/commune in Belgium for quicker PR/Citizenship process

greatjks

I am from non eu country and I am residing in 1000 Brussels from last 3 years with my spouse and kid .I am employed from the start of my stay and contributing to social security and taxes. I wanted to have Belgium PR+ citizenship as soon as possible , so that I can go to my home country for few years(due to some personal responsibilities) and come back here in Belgium forever .

I need your help/experience to decide is it best to stay in 1000 Brussels or move to other commune of Brussels like etterbeek, woluwe etc or other cities like Gent or Halle or Leuven ?? for easier and quicker process of PR/citizenship . Thanks for your valuable comments .

Once you left the territory your 3 years says bye bye.(more than six consecutive month and or over 5 years period more than ten months)

Upon your arrival you should count 5 years + 5months for PR + 3 months for citizenship process if everything goes ok with  you.

This period maximum may differ a month lets say 2.

My personal experience with the cities in Belgium i can say fastest process was in Oostende.

Good luck in following upcoming years .

@maharaji1984

thanks for your response. No I meant, I will leave Belgium (for some years) only after getting the citizenship. That why I wanted to know the best commune for quicker processing , so that I can get the citizenship quickly after 5 years stay and then make the temporary exit.
