Queries on dependent visa docs - Applying as single family from the UK

guesthostler0q

Hi All,

First, thanks everyone for their contribution to this forum, it is very informative and helpful.

I have few questions which I would like to get clarifications on (I have browsed numerous topics and replies, but have helped but some of them remain unanswered or outdated or honestly the forum search didn't bring back the questions I was looking answers for, hence asking).

1) When you are applying as a single family, along with your spouse, do you have to pay contribution fee for each? May be a silly question but official FAQ got me confused, 4th question in the below link

Pasting it here as well,

Q: My application concerns several people. Do I have to pay one or more contribution fees?

The contribution fee must be paid per person. You will therefore have to pay one contribution fee per non-exempt person.

However, if an application is lodged by a single family, this family will only pay one contribution fee if the partners are married or legal cohabitants and the application was lodged jointly and on the same legal basis for all members of the family. The family relationship must be proved by official documents (marriage certificate, registered partnership, birth certificate, etc.) presented in the required form (legalization, apostille).

2) Do we need to provide birth certificate (Non-Eu and Non-UK citizen) of the dependent when applying and traveling together from the UK?

3) As we are traveling together, should we show the travel tickets?

It is confusing as answers vary in different threads. Kindly request to confirm.
