Double-glazed window costs

If anyone's interested in having UPvc double-glazed windows installed, just ask/reply to the thread. I've just had a quote for a renovation we're doing, and this is just another thing that's shot up in price over the past few years.

I should add that we aren't going to install the cheapest or the most expensive system, but rather what fits the situation, ie a non-opt-outable-of "contract" with the local District Heating monopoly whereby you get to pay for the heating whether you want it or not....another vagary of life in BG! 馃槃

In our region, prices for double glazing and doors are great鈥� and luckily for people, prices didn鈥檛 go up much (not much at all). We are saying this just because our neighbours just had their windows and doors installed through the company of our recommendation, it was a very good deal.

We've had some very good deals, but also some "very good" deals which were pretty shoddy in terms of the quality of both materials and installation.聽 The company we're using comes very well-recommended, but I guess that the proof of the pudding etc... 馃槑
