Haskovo's a trek, so I think the only "cheap" option is the train. And you know how long that takes! :-)

I usually stay at the IBIS Hotel parking (large, fenced, outdoor lot, plus a few spaces in their underground garage for twice the price). Price is very reasonable for a few days/weeks (ballpark 75 euros / month maybe), and it's very close to the airport (free shuttle, and it's walkable depending on which terminal you need). Sofia airport is very easy/quick to get to from the A1, so it's a very convenient drive - it's not like trying to get to Heathrow round the M25. :-)

You can try parko (dot bg) and parkvia (dot com) to book online, and they have several options, not just the IBIS.

For a few months, it might get expensive (especially in a garage space). But I never leave it there that long. For that kind of trip, it might be better to leave the car at home and get a private taxi door-to-door. There are a couple of firms in Plovdiv that do it for around 70 euros each way. Haskovo is significantly further/slower, so maybe more like 140 euros each way?

For an airport hotel, the IBIS is not crazy expensive (I use booking dot com), so sometimes public transport + a night in a hotel can work too.

Also, you should note that Plovdiv Airport is a lot closer to Haskovo, and it has some cheap Ryanair/Wizzair flights to London.
