Hi, my name is Shannon. I鈥檓 currently living in Ireland but I鈥檓 relocating to Lille in August. I鈥檓 just looking for some advice on finding jobs in France and if I should be looking before I move or if it鈥檚 easier to sort it before then. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

What kind of jobs are you looking for ?

If the job requires that you interact with locals, speaking french is necessary

Thanks for the reply bhavna, any job in hospitality or bars. I have a small bit of french. what level of french would i need to be speaking for hospitality?

Right now it is holiday season and bars/restaurants might need some extra staff. You could find even with broken french. However, it might be easier if you are from the EU.
