Hi,

could you please share advice and tips about pregnancy in Lyon?

Who are the best gynecologists for pregnancy follow-ups?

Which hospitals or clinics would you recommend to give birth in Lyon?

Hi Christine,

It all depends what exactly you are looking for in terms of gynecologists or hospitals/clinics, but HFME (Hopital Femme M猫re Enfant) in Bron (close to Lyon 8e) is overall excellent as a medical structure, especially dedicated, as its name suggests, to women, mothers and babies. I can't however give you any names of good doctors there. Hopital de la Croix-Rousse is also very good I hear. On the private side, I personally gave birth at Nat茅cia, which I was thrilled with (except for the bill at the end, by French standards). I would say the choice of a structure is important (in terms of the level of their neonatal service is concerned), but the choice of a GYN-OBS is just as important, since he/she will be following you all along your pregnancy. If you know of a good one, go for him/her.
