Fuengirola bus and train stations are very close to each other.

I use three methods, depending on times of travel etc.  There's a 16:30 bus from La Linea to Torremolinos that takes about 2.5 hours, its about 15 Euros for the bus and 2 Euros for the Metro.

Last week I used a car share app. called Bla Bla Car to get a lift to a Torremolinos hotel before a morning flight, that was £7.

Or if I need to there's a driver I use who charges £110 from La Linea to the airport.  He takes the fast route and the toll charges are included in the price.

Train Fuegirola to Aeropuerto, on this link you will have to put in information of date / departure point, Fuengirola and destination Aeropuerto.

If you are referring to transport from Malaga to Gibraltar, the best way is by bus from Malaga centre to La Linea. Gib is just a short walk to the border. Bus fare is only a small fee (compared to UK prices !).

I bought the ticket to Malaga, that was around €15, but I got off at Torremolinos as transport links were better for the airport.

I've traveled from Malaga airport to Marbella bus station and from there I took a bus to La Linea. My all travel been cost around €14 for me. And after 2.30 hours I was in La Linea
