Just tried to do my UK tax return online like I did last year. My address details are already in the system but now it won't accept them as I don't have a UK postcode. Have they changed the rules so people outside UK can no longer do returns online? I've missed the deadline for postal returns.

It's the same with the Dutch Tax Return, each citizen in Holland has a code called the DigiD. As I am no longer a Dutch citizen, my DigiD is no longer valid and I can no longer do anything online regarding my taxes and my car.

So, presumably, yeah, this also counts for the UK.

I rang them today and they say I have to change my address to a UK one, wait 72 hours for the change to go through, file my return then change the address back to my Hungary one. In a word, pathetic!
