I don't think there is any country in Europe that taxes gambling ( lottery) winnings. Germany certainly doesn't!

Of course you will be taxed in the following year on income gained from your gambling win. It is the gambling provider who pays the relevant taxes.for the initial game.

Hi. You do not have to pay taxes for gambling, as with casinos it is already included so to say.

Hi, I saw this comment - I assume you have won some kind of money and i'm askiing if you could help me. Did you get taxed for your winings ? I'm a maltese citizien aswell.

This is 4 years old and the OP has not posted in a while so it's doubtful you will get a response. AS the replies already stated you won't get taxed on your earnings until the following year.
