Bringing Dogs/Pets ?

I am looking to find a position in the Netherlands that will allow me to move there for a few years at least.聽 One of my current hangups is I have a Golden Retriever that must come with me.聽 Has anyone relocated with a pet?聽 Is it really the pain some people make it out to be?聽 Would love to hear how others have managed the move and any advice that might be offered?

Yes, I brought over my dog in April.聽 You should see a local vet in your area to advise of the requirements of each country. Most importantly, the customs officers require all paperwork (see vet) and a 15 digit microchip.

KLM has a website that can probably address the more particular airline concerns.
