Visa validity

Hi

Im Paper, i have applies for schengen and was granted. However, they said that i was only granted to stay for 16days and this was according to the ticket that i presented to them. But my ticket covers 20days as per my counting. Id like to know when is this 16days takes effect. Is it from the time i arrive in norway or the moment i enter schengen country like schipol airport (in case i pass through it).

Hello,

The visa counter starts from the date that provided on then visa and your days of stay counts from the first point of entry and Incase you鈥檙e flying KLM then Schiphol is the first entry point.
