modelo 49 tax

hello all, this is just a general tax related question ( not for this year) for which I cannot seem to find an answer on the tax website:


The form modelo 49 exists if you wanna request additional time to lodge your IRS.


I understand the modelo 49 is filled electronically where you have to download software but does a paper version of the form also exist for people who do not use computers have to use an accountant to lodge this? Any help will be appreciated.

Here's the PDF form of modelo 49. I don't know if the AT accepts the paper version, or if it's all done electronically.

BUT

They won't accept this in print. And if they do accept on paper, you'll have to buy the form at the tax office...

thank you for your reply.  any idea which year the form has been printed?


the problem is that there is no way to submit the  form using your phone ( android or iphone).

I don't think you have understood. Delivery is always made electronically, you have to download the software here:



This software will generate a file in XML format and then it can be uploaded here using the option "Enviar ficheiro".


But in case the AT accepts paper forms, which I doubt, you'll have to get the form from a tax office and give it filled to the AT employee.


The PDF form above is just an example. It is useless to print it out, fill it in, scan it in and send it to AT.
