AIMA Help Collecting Cards

samwilliams20

Hi,

looking for some advice.

I applied for my and my family’s residence permits in October.

We was successful and myself and my wife received our cards 3 weeks later.

My 3 children’s cards were sent 2 weeks later but we never received notice from CTT until it was too late and they was sent back to AIMA.

i emailed AIMA and got a response saying that they need to collect them in person and only the card holder or Agent who assisted can collect them.

I never used an agent, I completed it all myself with my wife and children under family reunification.

my question is, can I travel to Braga myself with ID, there birth Certificates and a copy of there passport to collect them on there behalf as there all under 12 years old.

thankyou

I find it strange that CTT didn't leave a notice in your mailbox.

Anyway, if AIMA has replied to you in this way, it's because you can, since your children are minors.

Take all the documentation you have with the application for family reunification. Don't forget your ID and that of your children, such their birth Certificates and Passports.

You must take the original documents with you. Usually they don't like copies in these agencies.

Hi Sam - Sorry I can’t help with your inquiry, but, when   you can, would you please send me the link you used to email AIMA? I have been trying and keep hitting a dead URL for SEF. I got my temp permit, but it’s been a while and I’ve received nothing from CTT to say they’ve tried to deliver it. I’ve tried to hang around home as much as I can, but sometimes you just have to be away 🤷🏾‍♀️.

I did receive a weird txt a while back, but it had no info at all, so I didn’t click on the link for security reasons…maybe that was it (not sure). Anyway, if you have the libk, I’d appreciate it.
