Question on vehicle importation

Can you import a vehicle into romania without a reg document.


Background

We bought a motorcycle via a company we owned in France then transferred it to ourselves in 2009.

We moved from France to the UK in 2010 and the vehicle has been off the road since.


We took it to the RAR and found that years ago there was a single character mistake on the reg doc.

So the rar won't register it.


There seems to be no process in France to get the doc changed for non residents.


We can show chain of custody from new. Any one got any ideas on how we might proceed?
