Education for international students

idasuhanya

Hi,

We will be moving to Slovakia soon. We have two kids who study in English medium schools, but I heard the state schools in Slovakia are taught in Slovakian language only. I am afraid whether my kids (one in class 6 and other in class 9) might be left out as they don't speak the language.

But it seems international schools are super expensive.

What's your suggestions?

Hi,

My response might be too late, but if you are still looking, try FUTURUM Kosice or FUTURUM Trencin.

My son has very limited Slovak but nearly all of the subjects, except for the Slovak Language lessons are tought in English.

They are very understanding when it comes to non-slovak speakers.

They charge 2500 EUR for the whole year as far as I am aware.
