Hi all,

Can a foreigner take the driving test in Slovakia?

What are the formalities to get a driver聮s licence in Slovakia?

Do you need special or extra documents being an expatriate?

How much does it cost?

Hi there

I had a South African licence which was not valid( the usual european beurocratic)
So I did my slovak licence , you must do the whole course and first aid certificate which costs about 400-500 euro.
Your slovak language skills should be on a conversational level to do the multiple choice.
The practical driving itself is a piece of piss and really easy.

You will need a permanent residents card aswell
