Working while waiting for the personnummer

Hi everyone!
I am moving to Sweden by the end of February. I read that the process to get the personnummer can take some time, but I haven't understood if it is possible to work while waiting for it.

Hi there, I'll be moving around April this year and I understand the process will take about 2 years (immigration process, correct me if I am wrong)

Also, I was told that without the personnel no. we're not allowed to work unless you've gotten a job in Sweden then only you can ask immigration to expedite your application. Currently, am trying to get a job before moving which I know it won't be so fast..but I'll keep on searching/finding a job. Anyone know if there's any job agency I can submit my CV?
