July and August in Tel Aviv- housing/friends?

Hi all,
I'm a 20 year old student who is going to be interning in Tel Aviv this summer. I'm incredible excited but am still finding a place to stay in the city. I'm looking to sublet a room to offset costs and hopefully have a roomate/ meet some new people. Even if you don't have a room to rent, I still want to meet people - especially locals and south american expats - I'll be arriving after four months in Buenos Aires and want to continue to speak spanish!

I have an Italian friend who has a nice place in center TA...聽聽 I think she might have a room, I'll ask her and update
