I think it may be difficult to learn the spoken language without the writing and reading...otherwise what type of Arabic are you teaching is it Lebanese, Jordanian, Egyptian Kuwaiti, or it is maybe the accent or Arabic words of the teacher itself.

Proper Arabic requires all reading, writing and speaking...

Myself being born and raised abroad made it difficult to learn Arabic...I went to the British Council in Amman, Jordan and did a one year course in Arabic for Non-Arabs, it starts of with the basic letters which will allow you to pronounce the words properly.

Anyway hope that there is much benefit for all...

Yep I agree I was hoping to find a school here or take class on Saturdays but it seems hard to find. So somebody let me know if they come up with a school or claSs that they may have heard of. Peace.
