CONTRACT IN QIWA

mayyanmani

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding contract renewals and resignations in Qiwa.

My contract was automatically renewed in Qiwa in last moth. I am considering resigning and serving a 60 Days notice period. I would like to know:

After my contract has been renewed, am I able to transfer my Iqama to another company if I resign and serve the required notice period?

Is there any rule or regulation that allows my current company to charge me a penalty for leaving early, given that no such clauses were mentioned in my Qiwa contract?

I appreciate any guidance or information you can provide on this matter. Thank you!

I have been working in my company for more than one year and i have iqama valid till Dec 24, I am currently on 30 days notice period in Qiwa (contract valid till Nov 24) and contract will be cancelled / terminated by Aug 31. I wanted to go to India for two months (Sept, Oct) on exit re-entry visa

  1. Can the current company issue exit re-entry for two months without valid contract in qiwa?
  2. Does my iqama gets cancelled if my current contract in Qiwa is terminated by Aug 31, but no final exit given by company?
  3. if yes, then should i initiate transfer request now ?
  4. if no, can i initiate transfer after coming back from India after two months?

  5. if i got a new job, can new company can transfer me now and put the start date of new contract after two months ie as 1st Nov 24?
