Hi,
   My yellow slip was  issued from istiqdam for my daughter and son.We gave the yellow slip with travel agent for stamping in India ,But in consulate the visa is not showing if I check absher it is showing valid but in visa number it is showing as 0.Whats the solution?

Check on enjazit if it’s appear their then submit ur passport to embassy

@ali_mech23 hello so I got the yellow paper a week ago and not showing in mofa do you think I can go directly to tasheel now without more waiting the mofa .. I'm processing for philippines as well thanks in advance

Based on my most recent experience

Yellow slip visa details will not be visible on MoFA website. Reason: Yellow slip visa is residency visa issued by MoI and not by MoFA. In the old enjaz platform it was visible but now there seems to be no integration between Istiqdam Yellow slip system and MoFA. May be they do it in future but for now do NOT WASTE your time checking MoFA website to show yellow slip visa details. It will not show.

Submit your family passport for stamping only after minimum 10 working days have passed after the date you have received yellow slip. Though optional, if possible try to send the original yellow slip to your home country

To get the yellow slip

- for the application form, prefer to fill by hand (in english or arabic) and have the form properly stamped by your employer. The form should not look like a scanned copy or else high chances of rejection.

-All the documents asked to bring must be attested by Saudi embassy and please do carry an arabic translated copy of all documents. It is advisable, if you have time, to even have the translated arabic copies attested by Saudi embassy. In my case I have the arabic translations also attested by embassy.

-Your organization or visa agent or freind or anyone based on his experience might say that attestation is not required, or a particular document is not required. But remember it is at the TOTAL DISCRETION of the officer in the Istiqdam office that day who will be handling your case. He can ask for any document and if you dont have he will send you back and ask to come again with everything and you will lose precious time to book appointment again. Hence have everything ready, attested and translated. Please carry all originals.

MoFA number in case of permanent residence visa has nothing to do with yellow slip visa number. MoFA number is just for medical report update and to keep a track of whether passport stamped or not.

Once passport is stamped two bar codes will appear on the page. If only one bar code is appearing with MoFA number that means the passport is not yet stamped. If two barcodes appear showing your followup number as mentioned in the 'yellow slip' it means passport is stamped. Also after few hours if you go and check the same page, another popup will start coming showing the visa number also

Dear friends  Asalam o AlaiqumI got the Yellow Slip from Istiqdam on 09.01.2023 but still yellow slip is not showing online on the MOFA website (visa.mofa.gov.sa) but appears in my Absher with my family details with their border numbers.Can anyone confirm that is it necessary to show Visa detail on MOFA for visa stamping in Pakistan?Also please confirm how to check the visa detail on MOFA web maybe I am doing something wrong while checking the detailThanksImran

Dears, anyone knows how to check the record of the yellow slip in MOFA or MOI? people mentioned that Absher shows data with border numbers, how it is possible when family members have not arrived as the border number is issued at Airport. The embassy returns passports with the comment, "visa not open in system" . should we just wait as Istaqdam appointments are not available on near dates?

i applied for a family visa and Istaqdam issued the visa with the wrong name.

once I went to them they told me to pay again 2000 S.r new visa would be issued.

Now can you please guide me on how I can refund for the first visa with the wrong name?

My work visa stamping for Saudi is rejecting three times in row. although my medical certificate issuance to MOFA is showing in the embassy website. but my agent is ask medical centre to update Gamca. they are saying we update everything on your MOFA.

there might be technical problem with MOFA number only like that.

@asfiyasumen11 when did your sponsor had authorization to your agent? And when you start process for medical?

Once visa issued it must be authorized (kafala) to the travel agency quickly. If no process happened within 60 days then it get expired. Again your sponsor has to renew it.

It is just matter of renew the new visa. Nothing to worry. Tel your sponsor to renew it.

Still no. passports returned twice with same comment. visited isteqdam alot of times they dont give any information. and now they told me to get this visa cancelled and apply all over again.

@hsn cool same issue was with me and the application simply disappeared after 30 days. most probab it expired. i have applied again yesterday.  hopefully this gets approved

Same here. they told me to cancel previous one and money will be refunded after a month. So i paid another 2k and they now issued a new yellow slip.

Didnt gave any reason why this happened.

Frustrating it is.

Just want to update few things, so it might help here.

1- How to check visa status activation on MOFA website?

Ans: By below links and entering VISA Number, Iqama Number and for Enjaz link Embassy/Consulate City at your home country.

2- How many days it will take for VISA (Yellow Slip) to be activated in MOFA Website:

Ans: 3 to 15 working days from the issuance date, if after that still your VISA is not showing on MOFA website or other links mentioned above then visit the MOFA with the yellow document.

3- How long till the visa is valid once issued from Absher or Istaqdam office?

Ans: One Year from the date of issue. (Hijri date would be considered as issued date is mentioned in Hirji)

4- Should we submit the visa request through Absher or Istaqdam, which one is rapid?

And: First you have to apply through Absher if you find error in that then you can apply through Istaqdam appointment. The only difference is that online request via Absher saves your time of physical documentation, translation and suffering. But it takes a while, sometime its instant and some time its takes a week or two. As sometime your application is cancelled and you have to again submit a new application or proceed via Istaqdam.

5- How many istaqdam offices in KSA, and can we visit any office?

Ans: There are only three Istaqdam offices in KSA (Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam). You have to visit at that office in which your company CR is registered, as they verify that from CR. Sometimes companies have multiple offices and for each branch office a different CR is issues. Example If a company have Head Office in Riyadh and Branch Office in Jeddah, the employee of that company can book appointment at any office and take the CR copy from relevant office. (CR=Commercial Registration, in Arabic its Called Sijal Tajjari)

Rest most of the information is easily available on internet and you can google it out, but still if someone have any query let me know. Will be glad to answer that.
