Clothes shopping and friends in Riyadh

Guest621

Hi all :)

I've just moved to Riyadh from the UK and am looking for the best shopping centre for finding women's basics I can wear to work - t-shirts, cargos, trainers etc. Reasonable quality and good fabrics without being overly expensive, along the lines of M&S, River Island, Next.

I would also love to meet some people to spend time with on my very rare days off!

Thank you

I use to do shopping from City Max stores, they have good stuff and reasonable prices. Also, there is Center Point Stores. City Max and Center Point mostly have all you need.

For good quality basics like tees, cargos, and casual wear, I'd definitely recommend checking out Riyadh Park Mall — they’ve got a nice mix of brands, and the layout makes shopping pretty easy and stress-free. I’ve personally found stores like Zara and H&M there to have great options that aren’t too pricey.

Another good spot is Granada Mall — it’s a bit bigger and can get busy, but has a wide variety of shops and a big Carrefour if you need essentials too.

Also, totally feel you on the rare days off! There are some nice cafés around Riyadh Park where you might actually run into people with similar schedules — or even join some local expat groups on InterNations or Meetup, they host events now and then.

Hope that helps and wishing you a smooth transition here!
