SR 4400 for 16 GB iPhone 5!
That is a big deal of money. I would suggest anyone to stay away from buying it for a while. I am sure in a couple of months  time, the price will come further down. Moreover I dont think that the iPhone 5 offers any great features for that price.

just wait for the prices to come down, maybe an iphone 6 release will help

well i dont think we have to wait until iPhone 6 is released. just a few months 2 or 3 it will come down.

Still Jarir and Extra doesnt have it. Em sure one they have it, the prices will be normalized. I will willng to pay ~3200 for 32 GB.

Wait for official lauch in KSA. Prices will come down and it will be available from most retailers and networks.

im thinking of bringing a few in from the states.  i brought 5 ipad minis back with me and sold htem all for 2k each

iPhone 5 will hopefully launched in middle east by December in second phase. Wait till then for proper retail price.

I read a web article that only Zain has proper 4G frequency(2600) in saudi arabia for iPhone 5. So you may not be able to fully benefit with new toy if using STC or Mobily.

STC and Mobily won't stay silent on this and will be installing the necessary infrastructure..

yep, in KSA unless you're buying thru a carrier it wil be unlocked

If you are not anti android do consider nexus 4 phone which is half the price of iPhone with good reviews.
