Hi! I'm a US citizen and I'm looking to relocate to Turkey. Are there any engineering expats out there in Turkey? I'm wondering what the job market is like and where to find other US citizens in the engineering industry residing in Turkey like myself.

Hi Alison-D,

The only thing I can strongly suggest is that do not apply for a work permit as an engineer as it will take more than a year to receive it (you might not even get it!). If you are an engineer but will not work as an engineer, that's fine otherwise be prepared for the worse!
