Lung Scar Dependent Visa ( Golden Visa)

comingtodubai

Hello,

My husband is getting a job offer from Dubai and the company said they would sponsor him a Golden visa for him and his dependents.

Now the problem is I ( his wife) have a lung scar ( from a TB which was 20 years old). I need only a dependent spouse visa and don't intend to work there so I will never apply for a work permit.

I have seen on this forum that a few dependents have applied and got a one-year visa. I wanted to hear back from people as how confirmed this news is ?  Also, what happens after one year?

Also if we apply as a Golden Visa dependent ( spouse Visa), ( spouse with lung scar from an old TB) I wanted to know if anyone has gone through with such a scenario.  Much Thanks. Looking Forward.

We haven't moved yet.

And as u see no response to this post.

But from this forum from the other posts it seems like no issue with dependent visa even with a lung scar.

But I haven't yet come across anyone that I know personally.

Looking forward to hear back from more people on this post.

What's your status ? Have u already landed in dubai ?

Brother I have same scenario with my wife...I got her on visit visa 1st and than I applied for.dependent visa...so she got one after some reports in Muhasainah...so need not worry....I don't know Abt if u can directly call her here on sponsorship visa....but visit visa and than sponsorship visa is safe

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Was the process usual like everyone else ? Or did they do extra reports ? How long did it take for the whole medical ?

Thanks a lot.

They did extra reports in block 7 but they will approve in one week due to dependant visa..so need not worry...And Thanx to Xang and other helpers who too provided me info...just keep on helping others in this chain..Don't forget..tc..stay blessed.

OK one week is good.

Yes thanks to all the group members here and esp Xang as he has really been very helpful and I have nearly scanned through all the posts related to lung scar here.

Yes without this help and the forum making a move is difficult. So very greatful to all the members here. And I too will post my update in detail as I get there towards end or beginning of next year.

Also last bit did u keep records of earlier xrays handy to show ur wife is all healed ? Or was that not necessary. As we were thinking if there is a need to get past xrays attested or any doctors note attested ?

Also post the xray did they ask if she had got TB in the past ? Asking this as even after knowing the scars are from old TB they still have the dependent visa right ?

Also was this follow up visa, like scan after 6 months or did they give a long visa directly ?

My husband would be eligible for a Golden Visa. So asking if me( wife) can get an dependent visa for a long scan or just one year visa ( as read in other posts) and then a follow up tests required.

Looking forward for ur reply.

Thanks for the quick responses.

I'm sure others reading this too would get help from this.

@comingtodubai

At present no documents is asked from past..they just ask 5 min question of did u had tb and all and  they do their test..that's it..no documents...

my wife has got 1 year conditional visa and not long visa....she has to visit muhasainah block 7 after 6 month again might be for test again.

So now it's 3 months only after getting visa so more 3 months...so let's c...

@vishranjeet

Thanks a lot. Hopefully after the 2nd test after 6 months she would get a long visa.

Have u read anywhere in this forum or elsewhere as whats the process after the 6 months retest ?

Sorry asking u this as qe are happily settled here and moving to Dubai would mean completely uprooting from one place to move to Dubai. So don't want to take a chance if there is no possibility of a long stay.

Thank you so much.
