Finding my feet in MBZ

SA-gal

I will be relocating to Mohammed Bin Zayed in 2 weeks time.  As it is a totally new place & experience for me I would appreciate some guidelines & perhaps meet up with people who can show me the ropes.  Questions about simple basics like  :-
Where do i find a good hairdresser, beauty salon, reflexologist, massage therapist, dentist?
Is there a good gym close-by?
Is there a park or area where I can take my dog for a run?
How do I go about finding a houselady to work part-time, 2 days a week?  And the going rate?
Can I find Cayenne pepper anywhere?
Where can i go for one or two driving lessons to get accustomed to driving 'on the other side of the road'?

Help, im a lost expat!

There is a shopping mall called Mazyad Mall bang in the middle of MBZ, not a particularly big mall but has a surprisingly good selection of outlets. The Lulu express supermarket is excellent and you'll find your Cayenne pepper there. I would be surprised if there isn't a gym somewhere around there.

Alernatively, there is Dalma Mall, just across the main highway and the Musaffah side. There is a huge Carrefour in there.

For driving lessons, the Emirates Driving School is located in Musaffah, 2 mins from Dalma Mall. I can give you the contact details of a reasonable (English speaking) driving instructor.
