Receiving prescription medication while in SMA

Can someone please me what is the best/safest way to receive prescription medication during my extended stay in SMA? I take organ transplant medication and need a monthly supply sent to me from the States.

It is very difficult to have these or any drugs sent to Mexico. You can bring them with you, but importing them requires special authorization. It's best to talk to a Mexican lawyer about permits.

Can you buy these drugs in Mexico? They could be cheaper.

I have a private mail box in McAllen, TX.聽 Those folks have forwarded prescription meds to me reliably three or four times with no delays.聽 Depending on the cost of the meds, their commission plus paqueteria charges might be more than the cost of a round trip to the border.聽 I think their fee was 2% of the drug cost plus shipping charges.聽 Google should be able to get you a list of private mail services in the border towns and elsewhere that can forward meds to Mexico.
